| Project INEUROPE launched to fund European-wide mobility of researchers |

|
As a result of the successful launch of the Programme of European Neuroscience Schools (PENS) programme by FENS and IBRO in 2005, IBRO's Central & Eastern Europe and Western Europe regional committees decided that the collaboration should be further strengthened by activation of interregional networking and mobility of young scientists.
Thus the two Regional Committees have initiated a project titled InEurope (the IntraEuropean Mobility Project), with the aim of increasing intra-European mobility by providing short, goal-directed grants to allow exchanges within European laboratories for Ph.D. students and young post-doctoral fellows 35 years of age or younger. The duration of the visits is limited to four weeks, with a maximum award of 3000 euros for travel and local expenses.
For application deadlines and instructions on how to apply for an InEurope grant, please click here. Online application will be opened 4-6 weeks before deadline. There are no hard copies of applications.
Funding decisions are usually communicated within two months after the submission deadline.
Within two weeks from the conclusion of the research activity supported by the InEurope programme, beneficiaries are required to send a two-page report (as an electronic document, in English).
