Disseminating information on brain disorders to members of the public at the annual agricultural show of Kenya.



ASIAN/PACIFIC REGION



Bangalore, India
The International Brain Bee - a live question and answer competition that tests the neuroscience knowledge of high school students. The winner, 16-year old Anirudh Raghavan, will travel to the US to take part in the final of the 2005 international Brain Bee.

Kerala, India
A one-day seminar on neurosciences at the Little Flower Medical Institute Kerala. Open to staff, students and the public.

Western Australia
Kids Brain Training. Day of educational events for children aged 5-12 years.



LATIN AMERICA



Zulia Stata, Venezuela
Educational Program on Genome and the Brain for schools teachers in Venezuela

Manzanilla, Cuba
Public education lecture cycle entitled  “Neurosciences for All. Our Brain, Our Friend” and other activities. Open to doctors and nurses, medical and nursing students, high-school students and teachers.

La Raza, Mexico
A display of posters and anatomical models in the metro station “La Raza” where there is a display area dedicated to science called “Tunel de la Ciencia”. The exposition will be open to the general public.
